This is a must try if you are in Monterey. I have visited many of the great restaurants in Monterey, Sardine Factory Whaling Station, Cafe Fina, Charthouse, etc. Montrio Bistro is one of the best meals I have ever had. The Duck Breast was soooooo delicious! I shared with my friends and they both said " that's a bird?" It tasted better than the best filet mignon. So friggin yummy!

Great menu....the Chef does his own bacon....ridiculous. Solid wine list. Very nice service. You better go or someone else is eating your "bacon on bacon".You've been warned😀

Great meal and half priced wines on Sunday is hard to beat. A nice mix of locals and tourists. Muscles were excellent although the red curry broth could have had more punch. Blackened Cod was delicious and generous portion. Saved room for meringue dessert which was a perfect finish. Staff was friendly and efficient, particularly liked Thomas for his effortless banter and recommendations. We will be back.

They call it High Spirits. It used to start at 4:30 - 6:30 in the lounge only.
